Young citizen scientists investigate the soil

Kids are riding their bikes to a park near their own school and measuring how healthy the soil is at that location, for instance by counting earthworms. Dozens of secondary school pupils are contributing to scientific research by joining in. A great way to get teenagers out of the classroom and into the great outdoors!
