EuroMix

We are exposed to chemical substances on a daily basis. The European EuroMix project will provide a new test and risk assessment strategy to include mixture effects of these substances in the chemical safety assessment. RIVM coordinates EuroMix.

Food safety

In recent decades, the safety of our food has improved significantly, but nevertheless it remains an important source of diseases. Between 2006 and 2015 a worldwide initiative was launched by the World Health Organization (WHO) to estimate the burden of foodborne infectious diseases. In 2015 RIVM hosted the FERG symposium.

ConsExpo

The ConsExpo program, developed by RIVM, calculates consumers’ exposure to chemical substances when using consumer products such as cleaning products and personal care products.
